Ms Chen Chi is an accomplished dancer and experienced teacher from Taiwan who began training in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, and Chinese Dance at a young age. She further honed her skills at The Kirov Academy of Ballet and The Rock School for Dance Education in the United States in 2016 and 2017.
Ms Chen has excelled in international ballet and contemporary competitions, achieving remarkable results including 2nd place in the Ballet Solo Category at the 11th Taipei International Ballet Grand Prix and 11th place in the Contemporary Solo Category at the World Ballet Art Competition Grand Prix in Canada.
With expertise in instructing children aged 3-10 years old and assisting RAD Primary students in their exams, Ms Chen also has a passion for choreography. Her talent was recognized when she won 1st place and the Best Choreography Award as part of the 2019 World Ballet Art Competition Grand Prix contemporary group.
Ms Chen’s performance experience is equally impressive, having participated in various productions including NAFA 2020-2023 Crossing, As it Fades, KATHABI, The Third Space.Journey, and Now/here. Her classical ballet repertoire includes Satanella Pas De Deux, which she performed at the Riverbank dance company’s annual performance in Taiwan, and Giselle act 1 variation, which she performed at the Gala of Formosa solo competition in Taiwan. She is currently a member with The Human Expression (T.H.E) Second Company.
