Nah Jieying

Born in Singapore, Ms Jieying was awarded the prestigious National Arts Council Scholarship (Undergraduate) in 2016 to study overseas at the London Contemporary Dance School. After graduating with First Class Honours for a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Contemporary Dance, Ms Jieying worked on projects with James Cousins Company and Matsena Productions in the UK. 

From 2019-2022, she is a full-time dancer with The Human Expression Dance Company. She has danced works by world-renowned choreographers including Desidium by Dimo Kirilov Milev (Netherlands), Contactless by Jos Baker (UK), Mr Sign by Kim Jae Duk (Korea) and many more. 

Ms Jieying has taught both locally and internationally, such as Buckingham School (UK), CAT Programme for The Place (UK), and School of the Arts, Singapore (SOTA). She has also choreographed works for T.H.E Second Company, Esplanade 4×4, and Goodman Arts Centre Open House.

Ms Jieying’s students have also won many awards in competitions including Star of Cannan Dance International Ballet Competition Global, Youth Arts Festival and Get the Beat.

She also conducts dance workshops and dance-related lectures for arts groups and organisations in Singapore.
