Rebekah graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with a Diploma in Dance Teaching (2013). Trained in Ballet and Contemporary dance, she has a passion for sharing the joy of movement in dance with students across a diverse age range. She has taught ballet in schools such as Hillside World Academy and conducted several dance workshops for youth and adult dance groups which culminated in dance showcases and pieces choreographed for their major productions.
Rebekah has danced professionally with JuSt Live daNce dance company, and performed in pieces inclusive of One Foot at a Time presented at the Yellowren Arts Festival and Displace continued presented at The Arts House and Moments of Being, a multi-disciplinary collaborative performance in Displacements 2013.
She was trained in ballet by former principal dancers of Singapore Dance Theatre, Xia Haiying and Jenny Chien. She was also a scholar with the Moving Arts Scholars programme where she received training in Contemporary dance under the tutelage of Mr Ricky Sim.
